This weekend I was faced with an unusual problem. I was checking the conversions for the last month and I saw that my Business Development Executive did not meet the target for that particular month. According to company policies, I immediately terminate people who do not meet the targets. In normal cases, I will always have a backup so that if someone does not meet a target, someone will be always there to replace him/her. But this time I did not have someone. I wanted someone who will be ready to join immediately and should satisfy my ideal candidate persona(Women aged between 22-35 with an MBA) who lives nearby to my office. Using a Job Portal site was not an option as it will take at least 5-10 days to get a good number of applications(and that too not guaranteed). This is when I decided to use Facebook Ads to find candidates.
I was astonished at the results I received. I received a total of 12 Applications in just 30 Hours by spending only Rs 820. And the quality of candidates I received was really good compared to candidates I used to get from Facebook Job Postings and other Job Portal Sites.
