Eligibility Criterion to Take Admission into the College

Candidates who want to take seat for BDS courses,

• They need to pass the 12th board examination or equivalent examination with at least 50% percentage from an acknowledged board.
• They should have studied PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects along with English subject in their 12th standard.
• Candidates need to be at least 17 by age as on the 31st day of December of the year of BDS admission.
• Next, candidates will have to apply for UP NEET Counseling directed by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training in UP.
• After a successful counseling process, candidates get to chance to apply for Inderprastha Dental College.

Candidates who want to take seat for MDS courses,

• The candidates should have passed BDS degree or any equivalent provisional pass certificate in Bachelor in Dental Surgery from a recognized university of India or from any college recommended by Government of India.
• Candidates who have processed any equivalent degree or qualification from a Dental Council of India recognized college or university.
• It will be good to be a registered Dental Practitioner.

Duration of Courses

• Total five years (Four years tuition and one year of internship).
• Only 100 seats are offered for the BDS courses per year.

MDS Course Duration & Seat Limitation:

•    Total three years.
•    Only three seats are offers for PG course in IDCH.

Fees for BDS and MDS Courses

• For Bachelor of Dental Surgery courses candidates need to pay 4,12,000/- per annum.
• For Master of Dental Surgery courses candidates need to pay 6,25,000/- per annum.
